How do I post a campus wide announcement?

Campus-Wide Announcements allows users to upload their announcements for inclusion on various distribution channels. These channels include:

  • myCampus Slider
  • Calendar Page (primarily for events with a broader audience)
  • Campus Cable - Channel 4
  • Chapel Announcements
  • Cru Mobile - Mobile App Announcements
  • Crusader Net News Email
  • Digital sign in front of Mabee 

Before submitting an announcement: 

  • Know your desired channel(s) of announcment.
  • Know your expected audience - Students, Faculty, Staff, Alumni, or Community
  • What are the start and end dates for your publicity request?
  • Announcement Details - the who, what, where, when, and why.

    **Note to students - You will need to provide sponsor name so that our department can verify your announcement. 

To Begin:

  • The quickest way to access the Create Announcement page is through MyCampus.
  • On the right, select "Faculty and Staff"
  • Then proceed to "Submit an Announcement"
  • This takes you to the Create Announcement page 
  • Create your announcement and Save when finished
